Descripción
This book for preschool children follows the adventures of Myšounek, a boy mouse puppet found by the children of Kytka Nursery School in a box in the school garden. They take him to their classroom and include him in all their activities during the week, but wonder what he will do at weekends when nobody is there and whether he will feel lonely. The children decide to take Myšounek home, on the condition that whoever takes him must show him either a beautiful place or an interesting activity. Their teachers tell the parents, who prepare a series of adventures for Myšounek and their children. He visits many beautiful places in their country and learns about pressing apples into cider, skiing, skating, playing hockey, travelling in a motorhome and even what a wellness centrifuge looks like. The book is based on Kytka Nursery School’s year-long project, “Discovering the nearby, more distant and very distant surroundings.” Kateřina Musilová created the project, Roman Musil wrote the text and Ladislava Linajová provided the illustrations.
