Descripción
This Czech-language pocket guide introduces the Czech Republic as a producer of quality wine. It covers the tradition, history and present-day cultivation of grapevines in the Czech lands, and presents a wide range of Czech and Moravian wineries, from large producers to the very smallest. It also features wine associations and merchants, wine tourism destinations, festivals and celebrations. The publication includes a wine map of the Czech Republic showing all the wineries featured in the guide, along with marked wine cycling trails. The first of its two main sections discusses wine in general, including its history, production, storage, classification by grape variety and type, advice on recognising good and poor wine, and a glossary of important wine terms. The second section provides an overview of selected wineries. The guide contains clear texts, colour photographs, information on gastronomy and culture, tips, points of interest, maps, links and QR codes.
