Descripción
This Czech-language textbook covers materials and technologies used in prosthetic dentistry from both technological and clinical perspectives. It is divided into four parts: an overview of the basic characteristics and properties of prosthetic materials; the principal materials used to make dental restorations; auxiliary materials involved in processing the main materials; and technological procedures used in both laboratory and dental-office stages. The book discusses traditional procedures as well as sophisticated methods using modern automation. Drawing on more than twenty years of clinical experience by both authors, it includes numerous notes reflecting that experience. It is intended primarily for dental students and students of dental technology, and can also benefit new dentists and experienced practitioners wishing to expand or supplement their knowledge of modern prosthetic materials and technologies.
