Descripción
Originally published in 2008, this philosophical work treats climate change not primarily as a collection of facts about global climate and human influence, but as a moral problem. Although some of the factual information it presents needs updating in light of new findings, its philosophical content and proposed solutions remain valid and now seem more urgent than before. There is even less room today to doubt the existence of climate change and humanity’s influence on it, while the world has done regrettably little to address the ecological crisis and the prospect of catastrophe has become more real. Since the subject concerns us all in one way or another, this Czech-language book remains a valuable contribution to the debate.
