Descripción
Detective Stilwell of the Los Angeles Police Department has been forced to leave the homicide division and transferred to an insignificant station on Santa Catalina Island. Although the island appears to be an idyllic holiday destination, Stilwell knows it is merely a remote place where his superiors hope he will be forgotten. The usual weekend influx of drunken fights is suddenly overshadowed by the discovery of a body in the harbour, tied to an anchor. Determined to prove to his mainland superiors that he has not been written off, Stilwell breaks every rule and exceeds his authority to solve the case. His search for the killer leads him to the dark heart of the seemingly peaceful island, where he also discovers that someone is constantly watching him.
