Descripción
In two books from the mid-2000s, Catherine Malabou engages with the philosophical tradition that shaped her through the concept of plasticity, rewriting it as a process of transformation between dialectics and deconstruction. At the same time, she places the organization of the nervous system alongside the political and social organization that conditions human experience and is also conditioned by it. She develops a radical understanding of plasticity in its transformative capacity, seeking to prevent it from being identified merely with flexibility and adaptability. This Czech-language philosophical work examines these ideas in the field of social sciences and philosophy.
