The first consists of chapters covering all cultivated genera, while the second presents reports on uncultivated genera, unusual unresolved problems, and the author’s previously unpublished observations and minor discoveries. The book combines scientific and professional botanical knowledge with insights from the author’s many years of cultivation practice at a botanical garden, and includes more than 600 photographs.
