This B1 coursebook with an interactive version is part of the three-volume Momente German-as-a-foreign-language course for adults and young people aged 16 and over in A2 courses worldwide. Its modular structure contains three four-page lessons and a magazine in each module. Every lesson begins with an interesting, emotionally engaging visual prompt presenting the story of one or more protagonists, which provides the thematic framework for developing skills, grammar, vocabulary and useful expressions. Selected lessons include an optional film continuing the story, while the new vocabulary is presented prominently as a picture glossary in the footer. The learning material is closely integrated with a varied interactive media programme containing clips on vocabulary, grammar and communication, along with suitable additional exercises. Varied cooperative tasks encourage collaborative learning, while the “finished already” section and alternative activities support differentiated teaching. A short test at the end of each lesson allows learners to check their progress and continue working individually with differentiated interactive exercises. Each module concludes with a magazine exploring the lesson topics and interesting cultural aspects from new intercultural and multicultural perspectives. Grammar and useful expressions are clearly summarised at the end of each module, with short additional exercises for revision and consolidation. The interactive version includes a digital coursebook for whiteboards, PC, Mac and tablets, all the book’s audio recordings and films available directly from the relevant activities, interactive coursebook exercises for classroom use or individual revision, explanatory clips covering grammar, vocabulary and communication, matching interactive exercises, differentiated exercises for the lesson tests and an extensive toolbar with various whiteboard functions.
