The Vielfalt B2.1 course and workbook is intended for adults and young people aged 16 and over attending B2 German courses, and includes a code for the interactive version. The coursebook has a modular structure with four modules, each containing three short lessons, and opens each module with an engaging film featuring a variety of protagonists and current, relatable topics. Extra career pages present cross-professional scenarios, text types and language functions, while multilingual and multicultural activities encourage language comparison, perspective-taking and dialogue about values. The book offers intensive thematic and systematic vocabulary work, additional films with sample answers from German learners around the world, grammar explanation clips for classroom, online and independent learning, and an illustrated methodological glossary for cooperative, interactive teaching. The workbook includes Fit-for pages for reviewing familiar vocabulary and grammar, varied exercises in vocabulary, grammar and communication set in authentic contexts, focused practice in writing, pronunciation exercises and self-tests at the end of each lesson, targeted exam preparation at the end of each module, and a learning vocabulary section in the appendix.
