Homicide investigators use supernatural abilities to solve their cases while simultaneously investigating their own feelings for each other. Officer Asako, a member of a special investigations unit, can sense the residual thoughts of murder victims, causing their wounds to appear on his own body. Together with his reserved partner, Superintendent Kuroiwa, he tackles the most difficult cases. When the team investigates the murder of Kuroiwa’s ex-wife, Mari, Asako collapses at the scene, bleeding from a wound that suddenly appears on his back.
