Project Explore 1 Učebnica (SK Edition) (2019)

This English textbook is designed for fifth-year pupils at primary schools. Project Explore 1 opens up a new world through diverse characters and exciting stories, while each lesson uses the proven Project methodology and an effective approach to teaching grammar and vocabulary. It helps pupils gain confidence and prepare to communicate in English beyond the classroom. New topics, texts and tasks prepare them to use English in the real world, accommodate learners with different levels of knowledge and ability, and encourage curiosity through projects, cultural information, photo stories and comics. The activities develop key competences and support creativity, collaboration and communication, while the course also places strong emphasis on learning how to learn and supports 21st-century skills. Cartoon stories and photo stories practise vocabulary and grammar from the previous two lessons. The Teacher’s Resource Centre provides audio recordings, answer keys, photocopiable materials, tests, word lists and access to Online Practice. The course includes audio for the textbook and workbook, tests, transcripts, photocopiable materials, word lists, 24 animated and dramatised videos with optional subtitles, three songs, and photocopiable worksheets for working with the videos and songs.
