This set of 12 watercolour pencils combines pencil drawing with watercolour painting: the dry mark dissolves in water into a translucent layer. The hexagonal barrel fits comfortably in the hand, and the set includes tools for evenly applying water. The water-soluble leads spread into a watercolour effect when brushed with a damp brush, and the colours can be mixed further. Alongside the 12 pencils, the set contains an eraser, a water brush and five sheets of A5 watercolour paper weighing 300 g/m². The heavier paper withstands wetting without deforming. The pencils are suitable for illustrations, sketchbooks, colouring books and first attempts at watercolour, and are intended for children from 3 years of age. They can be used dry and then blended with water, or the tip can be dipped directly into water. Layering shades and diluting them with water creates more tones than the number of pencils. The hexagonal body provides a stable grip, and the lead has a diameter of 3.8 mm.
