Synopsis
Glorie:
Bank clerk Šembera's life takes a comedic turn when his twins are born. After a botched task, colleague Knotek takes the blame to protect Šembera, earning himself a saintly reputation. However, Knotek's newfound "glory" brings unexpected troubles, leading to his arrest and psychiatric evaluation. Ultimately, Knotek returns to his ordinary life after confronting his superiors and revealing the truth.
Secrets of Script:
Antique dealer Karas grapples with jealousy towards his young wife Martička. Seeking reassurance, he consults with Judge Hübler, leading to a series of misunderstandings involving handwriting analysis. Despite initial suspicions, Karas discovers Martička's fidelity through a cleverly orchestrated letter. Meanwhile, a chance encounter with a pojišťovací agent leads to unforeseen consequences for Mr. Kupr, culminating in a stroke and the unlikely support of pensioner Bartoš.
