Synopsis
In a small-town hospital, the focus is primarily on adult stories, none of which seem to be experiencing successful phases in life. They are struggling with broken relationships and career setbacks, leading to bitterness that makes them unpleasant to be around. Even a 13-year-old troublemaker is on the receiving end of everyone's frustration, earning the nickname "Liar and Thief." He's often accused of wrongdoing even when innocent. Despite this, he decides to bring joy to a sad girl. It's December 5th, and he promises her that he will bring Saint Nicholas to the hospital. However, achieving this is no easy task, especially under the watchful eye of the head nurse. This challenging endeavor has an uncertain outcome, but by the end, it becomes clear that everyone involved is opening their eyes and, almost miraculously, their armored hearts, experiencing a moment of mutual understanding.
