Synopsis
The first clapperboard sounded on Friday, March 28, in Prague, marking the beginning of filming for TV Nova's original series "Kriminálka Anděl." This series aims to be a new type of Czech crime drama, offering a thrilling viewing experience with modern visual techniques. It portrays Prague as a volatile, fast-paced, modern cosmopolitan city, which also harbors its dark sides. Each episode of the series brings a new investigation inspired by real criminal cases. The team at the fictional Prague detective bureau "Kriminálka Anděl" comprises five main detectives who investigate the most serious criminal offenses, including armed robberies, premeditated and sexually motivated murders. The team is led by the oldest and most experienced Ivan Tomeček (Martin Stropnický). His colleagues are the rookie Tomáš Benkovský (David Švehlík), the practical Oliver Hajn (Marek Taclík), the documentarist Rudolf Uhlíř (Michal Novotný), and the police psychologist Jana Chládková (Helena Dvořáková). An important collaborator is the pathologist Karel Benkovský (Ladislav Frej). The entire department is headed by the chief director of the criminal police, Milan Horký (Miloslav Mejzlík).
