Synopsis
Former high school classmates have taken different paths in life. Jirka owns an art gallery, and his wife, Vanda, runs a pastry shop. Ivan is an ambassador in Italy, married to the quiet Johanka, while Roman, a gynecologist, is married to Anna, who seems mild but loves baking bear-shaped cakes. Despite their outwardly stable lives, each character hides secrets from the others. Vanda's shy sister, Ema, wants a child but is afraid of relationships, so she asks Jirka and then Roman for help. Jutka, a Slovakian woman, has had a long-term affair with Roman and a daughter named Natálka. The situation escalates when Jutka visits Anna, exposing Roman's eight-year deceit. Both women throw him out, and Jirka finds himself in similar trouble. Ivan, initially appearing unaffected, discovers that his children are actually his chauffeur's, Dino's, which dismays him because his friends kept this secret. As the crises peak, it's clear that women prove stronger and more resilient in the face of these challenges.
