Synopsis
Helena Třeštíková, renowned for her unique time-lapse documentaries like Marcela, René, and Katka, brings another compelling film Mallory. Over 13 years, Třeštíková chronicles the life of Mallory, a woman determined to reintegrate into society after tumultuous life events. Despite a harsh life including drug addiction and homelessness with her child, Mallory's resilience shines through. Following the birth of her son, she breaks free from her addictions and survives the ordeal of living on the streets. Today, Mallory studies Social Work at a vocational school and has found her calling in helping those she understands best – people living on the fringes of society. Mallory is a film about hope and the possibility of changing one's life, no matter the circumstances.
