Synopsis
This comedy takes a humorous jab at the crime dramas that saturate today’s television screens, utilizing the clichés of the crime genre. The plot, familiar to audiences from countless genre films set in police environments, serves as a foundation for verbal humor and increasingly absurd situations. The scene is set with Major Prubner (David Novotný), his new colleague Skálová (Hana Vagnerová), and detectives Rorýs (Martin Pechlát) and Dymák (Lukáš Příkazký). Their task from the chief of detectives, Drátek (Miroslav Táborský), is clear – to investigate the murder of Starablažková. The detectives gradually uncover that she was successfully blackmailing someone, which led to her demise. However, they have few clues, only that it involves revenge. Additionally, Major Prubner is under pressure from his superior, Colonel Drátek, who gives him just one week to solve the case. The detective framework provides the backdrop for witty scenes and successful performances.
