Its impact on the later development of both Hispanic American and Spanish literature is undeniable. The book was first published in 1888 and contains a large number of short stories of various genres. It appeals not only to lovers of Greek mythology or mythical beings, such as Queen Mab or Puck, known from Shakespeare's play \"A Midsummer Night's Dream,\" but also to readers who prefer stories from everyday life. Rubén Darío (1867-1916) - poet, diplomat, and journalist; initiator and leading figure of modernism in Spanish-language literature, who particularly influenced the Spanish Generation of '98. Born in Central American Nicaragua, he was a cosmopolitan embodying the dazzling possibilities - and anxieties - of the fin de siècle era, the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Darío's early stories are the product of his stay in Chile, where he arrived as an unknown young man in 1886 and lived in solitude and poverty. This \"struggle for life\" was reflected in his first stories, which, along with several poems, were published in 1888 under the title Azur... (Azul...). This collection is still regarded as one of the milestones of modernism.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Volvox Globator","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51768347296091,"sku":"9788075114600","price":20.9,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1787\/2513\/files\/0348912.jpg?v=1763580517","url":"https:\/\/czechmovie.com\/products\/9788075114600","provider":"czechmovie","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
