Synopsis
In this grand fairy tale by writer Petr Hudský and director Karel Janák, the story begins when three fates arrive at a castle to predict the future of the young Prince Leopold. On their way, they stop by the commander of the guards, whose son has just been born. The fate predicted for him is not so glorious – Hynek is to become a clumsy person, mainly concerned with food. For Prince Leopold, the fates foresee marriage to a neighboring king's daughter. However, as children, the prince and princess detest each other, but their parents insist on fulfilling the prophecy. On their wedding day, Leopold and Josefína find a way to thwart it. They steal the fates' magical watch and use it to travel back to the time of the prince's birth to prevent the fates from making their prediction. Although they succeed in this, upon their return, they realize the chaos they've caused not only for themselves but for the entire kingdom.
