Synopsis
Young Terezka visits her unique grandparents for the holidays. Her grandfather, an inventive villager, unsuccessfully tries to fly a hang glider, while her grandmother watches and smokes cigars. The tranquility is disrupted when a local rich man, Napakunk, demands a life-size statue of his daughter from Grandpa, who refuses. In revenge, Napakunk cuts down a lime tree significant to the grandparents. That night, he destroys a spooky park Grandpa made for Terezka, but she saves a wooden spook named Cvikýře, who comes to life with magical abilities. Though only capable of scaring people, Terezka cleverly uses Cvikýře's skills to turn the tables on Napakunk.
