Synopsis
Postman Brabec, known for his sense of humor, is a popular figure at the revue theater, where he regularly delivers fan mail to the director Holt. Among Holt's admirers is Brabec's sister Anny, who aspires to join the theater but currently works as a maid for the actress Veldenová. As the theater rehearses a new revue with a secretly authored script, Veldenová quits her role just before the premiere, dissatisfied with the part. Quick-thinking Brabec introduces his sister, who knows all the roles by heart. Anny is accepted, but they need the script author's permission. Brabec discovers the author is none other than the Minister of Posts, who once enjoyed Anny's amateur performance at a postal workers' party...
