Excellent Resource!

It's so great that I can still access historic films that are not on any of the major streaming channels. CzechMovie is providing a real service! It took me a minute to figure out that "Titulky" meant substitles, but once I got the English turned on, I was off on my movie adventure.

What a lovely Movie

It's a wonderful fairy tale movie filmed in black and white. The spoken language is Czech, English and German subtitles are available. I highly recommend this if you like Czech fairy tale movies.

Synopsis
Beautiful, but very proud princess Krasomila is daughter of the king of Midnight kingdom. She refuses to marry the noble King Miroslav, who wants her hand. He, however, goes to her native kingdom and in the guise of acting as a gardener he comes to the castle.
