Synopsis
They look like us, speak like us, but have something extra – a gene that allows them to breathe underwater. Without us knowing, they live among us. Water people. This is not a fairy tale – it is reality and pure truth. "The Invisibles" is a thirteen-episode comedy series about a minority living in secrecy among us: water people. They look like us, speak like us, but possess "aquagen," which enables them to breathe underwater. Their numbers are dwindling lately. Mating with "dry" humans diminishes the quality of their unique gene, and water people gradually lose their miraculous ability. Occasionally, a "wolf" emerges among them – a water person unaware of their nature. When the well-known Prague lobbyist Laušman becomes a water "wolf" in front of TV cameras, it creates a problem. A double problem – the deceitful Laušman is pursued by the police and, as a newly discovered water person, by the water community fearing exposure. Due to the hesitation and incompetence of both groups of Laušman’s enemies, the lobbyist gains an ally who saves his life, unknowingly unleashing a series of events...
