Synopsis
A meticulous physicist (Milan Šteindler), a rigid Czech language teacher (Jiří Schmitzer), a lackluster physical education instructor (Martin Zbrožek), an ecological art teacher (Tomáš Matonoha), a fashionable school principal (Eva Holubová), and other teachers at a somewhat ossified gymnasium mold their unfortunate students according to their own visions, resulting in a lack of genuine interest and enjoyment in their studies. Petr (Tomáš Vorel jr.) and Michal (Jiří Mádl) prefer to skip school and when they do attend, they spend their class time sleeping, as they spend their nights painting graffiti. This is the only thing that truly excites them besides girls. Dangerous expeditions to rooftops, illegal forays into subway tunnels, and dramatic climbs up chimneys bring real tension, the risk of getting caught, and thrilling police chases—both fun and harsh. Thus, it is no surprise that their helpless parents (Zuzana Bydžovská, Tomáš Hanák, Jan Kraus, Ivana Chýlková) are perpetually stressed and occasionally collaborate with the teachers in the hope of getting their unruly offspring through school.
