Synopsis
Somewhere under the mountains, the country is controlled by high-ranking criminals, people connected to politics, the mafia, but also to the police, the courts and big business. An addicted teenager disappears from a rehab center, but no one misses her. She wants to testify to the police about forced sex and drugs, but they send her away. She finds a journalist who sets out to unravel an incredible octopus of crime, mafia, blackmail. A budding politician becomes president and takes over the whole country, because whoever has the power also has the police and state business under his thumb. A small-time extortionist becomes a big-time extortionist who treats people like chess pieces. But can truth survive among people who are after money and power? Or is the God of Money not afraid to murder?
