Synopsis
Sympathetic Eliška (Petra Hřebíčková) is a full-time loving wife to charismatic and wealthy Pavel (Jiří Langmajer). However, her world turns upside down when, on the cusp of turning forty, Pavel kindly and politely asks for a divorce. Determined to start anew, Eliška decides to become a teacher in a small village in central Bohemia. The lively and hyperactive mayor (Miroslav Táborský) arranges for Eliška to live in the same house as the gruff Božíček (Ondřej Vetchý), who, due to his own unfortunate experiences with women, has sworn off them for good. His sarcasm and rudeness are perhaps only surpassed by his occupation - Božíček works in the village as a gravedigger. Despite this, Eliška is not one to be trifled with, especially when it comes to men, and she won't let anything stand in her way.
