Description
Another title of archival recordings by the protagonists of the S+H Theatre /former director and long-time performer of Spejbl and Hurvínek and current director of the theatre, Helena Štáchová, performer of Mánička and aunt Kateřina/ offers four scenes whose common denominator is Hurvínek's "discovery" of nature. It is needless to say that this is done with the participation of Daddy Spejbl and the ubiquitous Mánička, and it is a lot of fun. The deliberately misleading title of the first scene with the abbreviation OP suggests who Hurvínek could be considered to be. It is not, however, an "op", but a "protector of nature", a theme that Miloš Kirschner is able to develop in the dialogue of Spejbl and Hurvínek not only with characteristic humour, but also with a touch of didactic overtones, which are very topical today. A classic scene is Syslus modrobulvus, a masterful verbal creation that is still remembered by two generations of listeners.
